This University of Alabama graduation session was the perfect way to celebrate an incredible nursing graduate and everything she accomplished during her time at the Capstone. Instead of visiting just one location, we explored four of the most iconic spots on campus, creating a gallery that tells the story of her college experience from beginning to end.

From the College of Nursing to Denny Chimes, the newly reopened President’s Mansion, and Bryant-Denny Stadium, each stop represented a different chapter of her journey. Between her nursing scrubs, graduation attire, and a few fun Alabama-inspired photos, this session was the perfect way to celebrate such a huge milestone.

Starting at the University of Alabama College of Nursing

We began the evening at the University of Alabama College of Nursing, where she started the session in her nursing scrubs before changing into her graduation dress.

I always encourage my graduates to incorporate something personal into their session. Whether that’s scrubs, a jersey, your instrument, or something that represents your college experience, those photos become some of the most meaningful because they tell your story beyond just graduation day.

After spending years working toward her nursing degree, it only made sense to start somewhere that represented everything she’d accomplished.

A Classic Stop at Denny Chimes

Our next stop was Denny Chimes, one of the most recognizable landmarks on the University of Alabama campus.

If you’re planning your own graduation session, this location is a favorite for a reason. The beautiful architecture, tree-lined walkways, and classic campus feel make it a timeless backdrop that never goes out of style.

No matter how campus changes over the years, Denny Chimes will always be one of those places that immediately says, “This is Alabama.”

A Special Stop at the President’s Mansion

One of my favorite parts of this session wasn’t originally on the schedule.

The President’s Mansion had just reopened for graduation photos after being unavailable for quite some time, so I decided to surprise her by adding it to our route at no extra cost. I knew the white columns and beautiful architecture would make the perfect addition to her gallery, and I couldn’t pass up the opportunity while it was finally open again.

Sometimes the best moments are the unexpected ones, and these quickly became some of my favorite images from the entire session.

Finishing at Bryant-Denny Stadium

To wrap up the evening, we headed over to Bryant-Denny Stadium.

For so many University of Alabama graduates, this location is a must. Whether you spent Saturdays cheering on the Crimson Tide or simply want to celebrate graduating from one of the most recognizable universities in the country, the stadium is the perfect place to end your session.

She changed into an Alabama jersey, celebrated with a champagne pop outside the stadium, and soaked in one last Alabama sunset before graduation. It was the perfect ending to an unforgettable evening.
